I'm Ash — a Principal Infrastructure Engineer at RegGenome, based in the UK. I've been building software for 17 years, working across ML infrastructure and full stack development — GPU inference deployments, model serving pipelines, and the web systems people use to interact with them.

I work primarily in Python and TypeScript, running things on Kubernetes across whichever cloud makes sense. After 17 years I've developed strong opinions about shipping fast, iterating in production, and reaching for AI where it genuinely helps. Working at a startup keeps those instincts sharp.

This Site

An excuse to write things down. Built with Astro 5, styled with Tailwind CSS v4, and deployed to Cloudflare Workers as a fully static site — because a blog doesn't need a server.
